The Nikkei Matsuri Foundation is excited to invite you to our first ever fall event, the Nikkei Matsuri Artisans Fair in San Jose’s Japantown! “We hope to provide an event for our artisan community to showcase their products and also for our community at large to once again shop and gather at a fun, safe event,” says Jim Nagareda, Nikkei Matsuri Foundation Board Member.

The Artisans Fair will feature Japanese and Asian-influenced artisan and nonprofit booths, and, like the Nikkei Matsuri Festival in the spring, this fair will support the Nikkei Matsuri’s scholarship programs: The Warren Hayashi Japanese Cultural Arts Grant, which benefits a school or organization that teaches a cultural art, and The Jimi Yamaichi Japanese Cultural Arts Scholarship to recognize a high school junior or senior and their accomplishments in cultural arts.

COVID-19 Safety Information

Wesley United Methodist Church’s COVID-19 protocols will be followed. Masks are highly recommended and entry numbers will be monitored. This event will be held primarily indoors.

Donated funds help the Foundation share the Japanese American experience through the Nikkei Matsuri Festival and supports its community giving programs. Nikkei Matsuri Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) Non-profit Organization.
