Kayoko Designs

I use a special type of Japanese washi paper called Yuzen-shi which is exquisitely printed rice paper developed in Kyoto Japan, along with metals using various metal techniques, such as soldering, etching, fusing and enameling and also employ Bronz Clay. My designs always adhere to the theme of Japan to express my cultural treasures.

Our Nikkei Matsuri Connection
We have been doing Nikkei Matsuri for a long time. This show used to be run by Violet Onishi with her great effort. She selected Japanese cultural artists very carefully. I remember she cleaned up the street in early morning and provided us coffee and donuts...such nice old days.
