To perpetuate and showcase Japanese American arts, culture, traditions and experiences while providing unwavering support to San Jose Japantown to foster inclusivity and strengthen community bonds.

Nikkei Matsuri supports Japanese cultural arts through these programs:

  • The Warren Hayashi Cultural Grant providing support to Japanese cultural schools
  • The Jimi Yamaichi Scholarship awards students who show significant involvement in Japantown or have been impacted by their study of a Japanese artform
In recognition of your sponsorship, we have several levels to show your commitment to the community and cultural events:

Individual donations are welcome through the Donate Now button.

Sponsorships to introduce your contribution to the community are available at these levels:

  • Level 1: $500 – Formal recognition at Opening Ceremonies Recognition.
  • Level 2: $1,000 – Level 1 benefits plus recognition and acknowledgement of sponsorship on Social Media platforms and Nikkei Matsuri website.
  • Level 3: $2,500 – Level 1 and 2 plus logo/company name on signage at Nikkei Matsuri Information Booth plus recognition in Nikkei Matsuri Program material. (Confirmation of donation made by April 1.)
  • Level 4: $5,000 — Level 1 through 3 recognitions plus a Booth Space (10X10) to share information about your organization.  Confirmation by April. Logistics to be arranged through Community Groups, Nikkei Matsuri Committee
